    Exhibition - Urban Art

    A community exhibition featuring art work and installations inspired by Oxford’s street art. Includes work created by local families during the Museum’s February half term holiday activities, and projects created by people in the community with local artists.

    The Museum of Oxford will be running two great family days during half term relating to this exhibition:

    Urban Art Family Day on the 12/02/18 runs from 12noon to 4pm. There is no need to book and all ages are welcome! To read more, follow this link.

    Our Urban Art Workshop (family activity) on the 15/02/18 runs from 12noon to 4pm with three seperate sessions also available to book on to. The sessions are aimed at children aged 8-11 and will last 40 minutes. Booking is essential for these. Please follow this link to find out more.

    Please note that the Gallery will not be open on Sundays during the exhibition.

    Available 10am to 4.30pm. Monday to Saturday. Museum of Oxford is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

    Oxford’s Wonderful Women - Family Gallery Trail

    It is 100 years since women started being allowed to vote.  This trail introduces some amazing women from Oxford’s past, from St Frideswide, princess and saint, to Olive Gibbs, Lord Mayor and politician.

    Pick up a trail from our Museum's Gift Shop for FREE. Donations are welcome!

    Oxford Grenoble Association presents a fundraising concert in aid of DIY youth theatre’s trip to Grenoble

    Local performers with links to Grenoble come together to celebrate the joy of music, and raise money to help DIY youth theatre take their production of West Side Story to our twin city Grenoble.

    Performers include: Japanese virtuoso pianist Maki Sekiya, City of Oxford Silver Band, East Oxford Community Choir and East Oxford Youth Choir.
