- History
-
Botley Park is a popular park, not far from the River Thames. We have left the outer grass area as long grass to increase the number of wildflowers and insects visiting the park.
- Things to do
-
The park offers something for everyone:
- play area with climbing frames, roundabouts, swings and springers
- Multi Use Games Area (Basketball, football and streetsports)
- tennis courts
- table tennis
- bowls green
- kickabout goal
- community centre and cafe
- walks to Thames and canal
- wildflower planting and wildlife spotting opportunities
- open grass area for picnics and informal play
West Oxford Community Centre
The West Oxford Community Centre which shares the same location is a hive of activities and events, including a community cafe.
Drones
It is currently not possible to fly model aircraft or drones (both with and without camera for filming purposes) within Oxford City Council’s public open spaces, including parks and nature reserves.
As these spaces are open to the public and experience high visitor numbers throughout the year, flying model aircraft and drones are not permitted for safety reasons.
