Opening Times

The park is open all day every day

Botley Park is a popular park, not far from the River Thames. We have left the outer grass area as long grass to increase the number of wildflowers and insects visiting the park.

Things to do

The park offers something for everyone:

West Oxford Community Centre

The West Oxford Community Centre which shares the same location is a hive of activities and events, including a community cafe.

It is currently not possible to fly model aircraft or drones (both with and without camera for filming purposes) within Oxford City Council’s public open spaces, including parks and nature reserves.

As these spaces are open to the public and experience high visitor numbers throughout the year, flying model aircraft and drones are not permitted for safety reasons.

The courts at Botley Park are free to use and operate on a first-come, first served basis. Please be considerate during busy periods.

Oxford Tennis League

Play friendly competitive matches. There are four 8-week rounds a year and adults of all standards are welcome to join.

For more information, visit our Tennis page.

West Oxford Bowls Club

New members are always welcome. Monday evenings is 'club evening' - between April and the end of August, when coaching is available.

Friends Group

Friends of Botley Park started in Summer 2018. Now is a great opportunity to get involved. Further details will follow once the group is fully established.
