Does the Council have an approved list of suppliers? How do I apply to be included on this list?
Strategic Directors hold lists for certain contracts which contain details of persons or bodies who have demonstrated appropriate and acceptable financial and technical competence and who have been approved by that Director and the Director of Financial and Corporate Services. These lists are reviewed at intervals of not more than three years. Notices inviting applications for inclusion on these lists are published in at least one local newspaper, a relevant trade paper/journal and on the Councils website.
