I am a Council Tenant and I want to make an improvement to the property I live in. Do I need the Council's permission?
Yes you do. You can apply for Landlord's permission by writing to your Estate Manager at your Local Housing Office, outlining what improvement you wish to make. A Surveyor may need to visit to inspect before any work is carried out.
