What does my Council Tax get spent on?

We spend £5.9m on our sport centres and parks, £5.7m on street cleaning and rubbish collection from both commercial and domestic premises and £2.2m on transport subsidy for the elderly.

For much of our budget we do not have a choice about what to spend the money on, as Central Government dictates how and when we are to spend certain parts of the budget.
