How do personal searches differ from searches submitted to the Council on Forms LLC1 and CON29?

The main differences are:

An Official Certificate of Search (Form LLC1) is not signed and issued by the Council in respect of information obtained for a personal search. 

Personal searches consist of information obtained from the Local Land Charges Register and other public registers. It is not possible to obtain replies to all of the questions on the forms entitled CON29 (Part I and II) (2002 Edition) by only viewing public registers.
