How can I pay off my Council rent arrears?

Your rent is charged to you weekly, and must be paid in advance. We offer many options for you to pay your Council rent. Whichever method of payment you choose, you remain responsible for payments reaching your rent account on time. We can make an agreement where you pay off your rent arrears in regular instalments if you are unable to pay off all your rent arrears in one go. If you are receiving Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance (Income-based) you can also agree to have deductions taken directly from your benefit to pay off your rent arrears in instalments on top of your rent.
