What do I have to do as leaseholder?

Your lease explains your rights and obligations. For example, as a leaseholder you have to pay service charges and keep your home clean and in good repair. It also means that you cannot make alterations to the building without the Councils consent, or use the building for business purposes. Nor must you or any members of your household cause a nuisance or annoyance to neighbours.
