This section provides information about roads, parking, cycling and public transport in Oxford. Select a heading from the left hand menu for more information.
Parking is limited in Oxford so we encourage visitors to use the Park and Ride service. Using this service, you can travel to Oxford by car then park in one of five secure car parks and then finish your journey into the city by bus. The buses are modern and frequent.

You can get a current concessionary bus pass if you are over 60, or are disabled, and your main residence is in the Oxford City Council boundaries.
A new scheme is being introduced in April 2008 which will entitle over-60s and disabled people to free off-peak travel on all local buses anywhere in England.
