There are no current exhibitions or consultations
Following the recent public consultations, Oxford City Council has released the preferred design concepts for the external appearance of the five tower blocks.
The results of the opinions for each block were based upon the following percentages of residents who expressed their view:
Further external design reviews and local resident consultation events will take place next spring at the detailed design stage which will include any colour choice of cladding and render and the improvements to the heating systems.
Oxford City Council, as owner and managing agent of the blocks, is working in partnership with EC Harris property consultants, to design the improvement works which will enhance the living environment for over 700 residents.
To enable us to shape the design, we are carrying out a number of surveys including: building, structural, land and services survey.
Most will cause little or no disruption to you or your home and will be undertaken at different stages in the coming months.
It will be essential that you allow the contractor into your home. To ensure your safety, they will be carrying ID at all times. The survey is likely to take no more than one hour.
Once in your home:
If you are not at home when the contractor visits, they will leave a card with their contact details on. Please call them back and arrange an appointment for them to return to your home.
Area for works:
The majority of the works within this project will be undertaken externally, within communal areas and properties currently containing night storage heaters.
Please note: Kitchen and bathroom upgrades will continue to be undertaken as part of the separate Decent Homes Programme.
We are aware that some residents may be vulnerable and may require additional assistance.

We want to involve you as residents in this project as much as possible and we are asking you to put your name forward to become a Block Representative. As a block representative, you can help agree the types of improvements that will benefit the residents of your block.
