National planning guidance comes in the form of Planning Policy Guidance notes (PPGs). These are gradually being replaced by Planning Policy Statements (PPSs).
Regional Guidance comes in the form of the Regional Spatial Strategy for the South East, also know as the South East Plan.
The Oxfordshire Structure Plan 2016 was adopted in October 2005. This sets out the strategic planning policies for the whole of Oxfordshire.
Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) gives more detailed guidance on the policies in the Development Plan.
Local Plan issues papers
Topic Papers were produced by the Council as part of the Local Plan Review.
