Parking Standards, Transport Assessment and Travel Plans Supplementary Planning Document

The Parking Standards, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by the Council on 12 February 2007.

This SPD aims to promote good practice and design in the provision of car, cycle and powered two-wheeler parking to support the transport policies of the Local Plan.  It also clarifies the requirements for Transport Assessment and Travel Plan submission.

A Sustainability Appraisal (SA) has been published alongside the draft SPD. Details of this can be found on the Sustainability Appraisal web page.
