The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is one component of the Local Development Framework.
It provides the starting point for the local community to find out what our current planning policies are for Oxford.
It has a programme for the preparation of Local Development Documents (LDDs) to replace the Oxford Local Plan policies over the next few years.
The City Council recently received approval for its revised LDS from the Secretary of State. This document updates the previous LDS, and covers the period 2008-2011.
