At North Area Committee on 3 May 2007, concern was expressed about the impact of the loss of front gardens, and the subsequent creation of paved areas in Wolvercote Green. It was felt that these changes would spoil the look of the Conservation Area.
It was, therefore, requested that an Article 4(2) Direction be served to remove development rights for new accesses and hard-standings for all houses along Wolvercote Green.
The proposed Article 4(2) Direction is due to come into effect on 21 December 2008.
Comments can be submitted in writing or online between 21 December 2007 and 31 January 2008.
