Oxford Flood Partnership
The purpose of the Oxford Flood Partnership is to work together to reduce food risk in Oxford. The partnership comprises local councils and national organisations.

Cultural Inspection Report
An inspection of our cultural services was carried out at the end of 2007, which looked at the variety of events and activities we provide including the dance festival, Museum of Oxford, parks, community centres and leisure centres.

What can I recycle and where?
Batteries, bicycles, computers, spectacles, light bulbs, tyres and many more items can all be recycled in Oxford. We have created a directory explaining where you can do this.

Where Recyclables Go
This page gives you some idea about what happens to your recyclables after they are taken away by our Waste and Recycling crews.

Cowley Community Plan and West End Community Plan
People living and working in Cowley or Oxford's West End have the chance to look with 'fresh eyes' at the area and contribute to the development of a community action plan.

Choice Based Lettings
We have now introduced Choice Based Lettings, an new advert based scheme used to allocate council and housing association homes. Find out more on these pages.

National Concessionary Bus Pass Scheme
A brand new national concessionary bus pass travel scheme will replace the current local scheme in April 2008. The new scheme will entitle over-60s and disabled people to free off-peak travel on all local buses anywhere in England.

Our new Oxonline pages now offer you easy access to all our online services as well as services offered by Oxfordshire County Council and by other national organisations. Visit our Oxonline section for further details.

Online Neighbourhood Discussion Forums
We are helping to launch Oxford's first neighbourhood Discussion Forums. This is a place where you can discuss anything that interests you in the Oxford area, online. Visit our Online Neighbourhood Discussion Forums page for more information.

Newscast System
Our new Newscast System allows you to sign up online to get regular, automatic email updates on everything going on in Oxford. Visit our Newscast System pages for full details.

Environmental Photo Reporting
Our new environmental photo reporting scheme is going from strength to strength and allows you to send in digital photos of graffiti or abandoned vehicles in your area.
