We are celebrating the beauty of Oxford and want you to send us your digital photos of the city. You can take pictures of anything you like as long as they are taken within the city boundaries. We are looking to liven up our website with your photos. Please be aware that if a recognisable person who is not in a public space appears in your photograph, you will need them to fill in and send us a Photographic Consent Form at the bottom of this page before it can be displayed on our website. We will need the photos to be in a high definition JPG file and no more than 2MB in size. What shall I take pictures of?Take a picture of the sun setting over Port Meadow on a clear evening, one of the magnificent architectural landmarks in the centre of Oxford, the natural beauty of the plants and wildlife in one of our parks or something completely different. Be creative - it's really up to you. How do I submit a photo?
To submit your photo to us, simply email the digital photograph file to news@oxford.gov.uk with your name, a brief description of what the photo is and where it was taken. You are welcome to submit as many photos as you like. How will I know if my picture has been put on the Council's website?Our website team will choose which pictures will appear on our website and you will be notified if chosen.
