New mobile phone parking system launched
Released on 12 May 2008
A new mobile phone parking system was launched in Oxford today on 12 May 2008.
For the past twelve months the Oxford City Council have been trialling a pay by phone service.
The introduction of the new RingGo service enhances the current service being offered to motorists as the call rate is cheaper.
Visit our RingGo page for full details of the scheme and how to register.
The RingGo service is currently offered at Oxford Railway Station. By adding Oxford City Council car parks to the scheme motorists will only have to use one system in the city.
Andrew Bradfield-Barnes, Car Park Services Manager says "We are pleased to roll out RingGo across the city.
"Reactions to RingGo at nearby railway stations have been very positive and the take up there has been impressive."
