Bird's Eye View Exhibition at the Museum of Oxford
Released on 28 Apr 2008
The Museum of Oxford will host a colourful new exhibition by three Oxford-based artists called: Bird's Eye View - a personal journey.
The exhibition is being held between Saturday 3 May and Sunday 29 June 2008. Admission is free.
Painting and printmaking have been a personal journey for Suzette Broad, Jackie Conway and Elaine Williams who are the group of Oxford artists exhibiting at the Museum. They are all members of Oxford Printmakers, who exhibit widely and will be taking part in Artweeks in May.
Suzette enjoys etching, collagraph and drypoint; is inspired by cats, and verges on the eccentric. Jackie's etchings draw inspiration from architecture, people and museums. Elaine is inspired by the places she visits, the Chilterns and her family.
The Museum of Oxford is located in Oxford's historic Town Hall. For more information about the Museum and exhibitions call the Museum on 01865 252761, or visit theĀ Museum of Oxford website.
