Latest News1APP - New Planning Application Process Are you aware of the biggest change to the planning system in decades? The Government is launching 1APP, a set of National Standard Planning Application Forms to replace all existing types of planning application forms (except minerals) within England. From 6th April 2008 the new forms will be used by every local authority in England and will be the only legal way to apply for planning permission. 1APP removes the differences in application forms by ensuring the same information is required for comparable applications by every authority in England. The introduction of 1APP makes the planning system clearer and more efficient for planning professionals, businesses and local residents. 1APP is primarily designed as an electronic form and is available online via the Planning Portal. The forms are also available to download from the Planning Applications page of our website, and paper copies are available at our Planning office located at Ramsay House, 10 St Ebbe's Street, Oxford, OX1 1PT. Visit our Planning Control pages to view current planning applications and submit comments, monitor your own planning application or view the planning history for individual properties. By using our online services planning information and guidance is available 24 hours a day. Copyright © Oxford City Council 2008 |
