Why not visit the Museum of Oxford during the April school holidays and try out some of the fun activities? Eggbert Family DayThere will be an 'Eggbert Family Day' on Tuesday 8 April. Join in a workshop to meet the author of the Eggbert's Adventures series, Paul Gustafson. You can listen to stories, make an Eggbert character and have your own copies of Eggbert's Adventures signed. This special workshop costs £3.00, is for 3 - 8 year olds and starts at 2pm. You can visit the galleries at anytime to make an Eggbert puppet. These activity costs £1 per person. Medieval MayhemThere will also be 'Medieval Mayhem' on Thursday 17 April from 10am until 5pm in a special Medieval Family Day. You can meet a Medieval Knight, listen to his tales of battles and chivalry and find out more about life in the middle ages. You can make dragons and shields in our special workshops for 5 - 12 year olds or make brass rubbings of armoured knights in our brass rubbing gallery trail. Workshops cost £2.50 per person and the brass rubbing is £1 per person. Who is Who?The Who is Who? 1000 years of Oxfordshire Faces exhibition is still taking place in the museum and there are lots of trails and drop-in art and crafts to take part in. You can make a simple car inspired by some of the famous cars made at Cowley or search the museum for springtime flowers to win a prize! These activities cost £1 per person. Ollie the OxThere are also Ollie the Ox's activities for children during the April holidays.
All Ollie the Ox activities are available for children aged between 5-12 years. Under eights should bring an adult with them. Places are limited so pre-booking is recommended. All workshops run 2.00pm - 3.30pm unless otherwise stated. The Museum of Oxford is located in Oxford's historic Town Hall.
