Released on 20 Mar 2008

 News Cutteslowe Train

The Miniature Railway in Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park will run for the first time this year on Sunday 23rd March (Easter Day) for the start of the 2008 season.

The first train departs at 1.30pm on Sunday, and continues to run until 4.30pm. The railway will also be open on Easter Monday.

Throughout the Summer, trains will run on the first and third Sundays of each month, with additional open days on Bank Holidays.

The Railway is run by the City of Oxford Society of Model Engineers (COSME), and is open to the public between April and October each year. It originally ran at Blenheim Palace, before moving to the centre of Cutteslowe Park in 1988.
