Ice Gala this weekend

"Around the world in 80 days" is the theme for this year's Ice Gala, taking place at the Oxford Ice Rink this weekend.

The show features over 150 skaters, from beginners to experienced champions, and from ages four to seventy plus.

This year's show promises to be even more spectacular than last year's sell out hit, treating the audience to scenes of the African jungle, penguins and eskimoes, the Rio carnival, cowboys and Indians, line dancing, Indian princes and princesses, Spanish toeadors and flamenco dancers, Chinese acrobats, Russian dolls, Egyptians, and the chorus of the Parisian Can Can.

Shows are on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June, from 5.30pm - 7.20pm. Doors open at 4.45pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £3 children and are available from the Oxford Ice Rink reception.
