Starting on Saturday 13 May, the Museum will host an exhibition by Edition3, an Oxford-based group of artists who specialise in printmaking. Morna Rhys, Heather Power and Jane Peart are all members of The Oxford Printmakers Workshop and are based in Tyndale Road, Oxford where they produce most of their work. They exhibit regularly together during Artweeks, the Affordable Art Fair in London and various other shows throughout the country. Their exhibition at the Museum of Oxford is launched with a special opening weekend on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May, when the artists will be available between 12 noon and 5pm on both days to talk about their work, techniques and inspiration. Jackie Hunt, Museum Curator, says: "Morna makes beautiful colour etchings of seascapes, landscapes and botanical studies. Heather depicts the wonderful shapes of silhouetted trees in winter, grassy meadows and architectural views. Heather also makes stained glass panels and book arts. Jane Peart specialises in highly detailed etchings and drawings of animals, landscapes and architectural details." The Museum of Oxford is located in Oxford's historic Town Hall.
