Two Online Discussion Forums Launched

Released on 17 Dec 2007

We are encouraging you, the residents of Oxford, to sign up to Oxford's first online neighbourhood discussion forums and start discussing issues with other people in your local area.

Both the Central South and West forum, and the Headington and Marston forum are up and running and we would like more people to join to really get the discussion going.

The forums are an independent project, run by volunteers whose only interest is to improve the working of local democracy. Oxford City Council does not own the forums. The forums are hosted by E-democracy.org, a non-profit, non-partisan, citizen-based initiative launched in 1994.

We want you, the residents of Oxford, to run the forums yourselves and feel free to discuss any issue that matters to you.

Visit the E-Democracy website to join either the Central South and West forum or the Headington and Marston forum today.

Visit our Online Neighbourhood Discussion Forum page for more details on the project.
