Oxford Ice Rink times and prices

The Oxford Ice Rink has public sessions daily.

The Ice Rink is open as normal on Bank Holidays and during school half terms and summer holidays. 

The Ice Rink is open as normal for the Summer bank holiday, 25 August.

• Wednesday morning skate training will be from 9.00-10.00
• Additional skate training session on Wednesday afternnon from 12.15-14.00

Please be aware that on busy sessions, entry may be restricted to a one-out, one-in policy, and that in some instances, a delay may occur in issuing certain size skate for hire.

• All sessions are open to skaters of any age and ability.
• Hire skates are available from toddler size 5 to adult size 14, and are included in the admission price.
• Group discount is available to groups of 17 or more skaters.  For more information see Oxford Ice Rink guidelines. 
• There is no need to book in advance for individuals or groups of less than 17 skaters.
• Doors open 15 minutes prior to session start time.
• Admission price is for entire session time.
• Any cancellations or changes to advertised sessions are listed on the main Ice Rink page.

Prices for Ice Rink sessions

Further price information includes:

• Concessions are available for children 16 and under, OAPs, and Student Slice cardholders
• Family tickets are available on all general sessions and tea time sessions
• Golden Blades are skaters, over 50, and is available only on the Monday to Friday 10.00-12.00 sessions
• Guardian fee is only for a non-skating adult, aged 18 and over, who are accompanying children into the rink, all other spectators must pay admission price
• A guardian, must accompany children under 10, at all times, whilst in the ice rink

Further session information includes:

• Twilight sessions are Sunday and Monday 21.00-22.30
• Disco sessions are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings 20.00-22.30
• The Sunday morning session has a short dance interval
• The Tuesday evening session has a short dance interval and there are no hockey skates allowed
• Some sessions may have restricted ice due to group and private lessons taking place
• Last admission for all evening sessions is at 21.30
• Saturday 14.00-16.00 is a busy general session.
