What is a Friends Group?

By becoming a friend of your local park, you can

The groups are independent, but work in partnership with the Council.

Why join a group?

Use the links on the left to read further information about the groups that exist in Oxford. Fill out the form below if you are interested in joining a group. If your local park isn't listed, why not contact us and set up your own group?

Trap Grounds

The Friends of Trap Grounds support the conservation and management of the Trap Grounds in North Oxford.

Activities

What can Friends do? As Friends of Parks are independent groups, they have a say in what their purpose is and what activities they take part in and organise. The council will help the group decide what the park's priorities are, as each park will have a management plan.
