Where is Oxford Ice Rink?

Oxford Ice Rink is a 10 minute walk from Oxford City centre and railway station.
Car and coach parking is located next to the rink.
A directional map is available from the right hand menu.

When is the Ice Rink open and how much does it cost?

The Ice Rink is open as normal for Summer Bank Holiday, 25 August.

Programme changes

Morning Skate Training

Skate Training will begin every morning, Monday-Sunday from 6.45
Doors will open at 6.35
The ice cut during the morning skate training will be at 8.45

From 15 October 2008 until 4 March 2009

Wednesday morning skate training will be from 9.00-10.00
Additional skate training session on Wednesday afternnon from 12.15-14.00

Some sessions can become busy. There may be occasions when some skate sizes become unavailable.

Oxford School of Skating

The Ice Rink offer lessons from our BITA qualified instructors for:

children 5 years old and upwards
adults
individuals or groups
holiday group crash courses

The group course package includes:

30 minutes tuition
skate hire
practice time

Personal skate training sessions are available throughout the week.
Contact reception for information and enrolment forms.

Can I hire the Ice Rink?

The rink can be hired at the following times:

Daytimes	Mon, Wed, and Fri	12:15-13:45

All groups wanting to hire the rink must provide valid proof of insurance.

School Skating Programme

The School Skating Programme is available to all schools interested in adding skating to their curriculum.

Admission for School Skating Programme is £2.00 per student.
Supervisors admitted free.
30 minute group lesson available for students.

Clubs

A number or organisations and clubs are based at Oxford Ice Rink.

OXIST (Ice Skating Club)
Ice Dance Club
Junior Figure Skating Club

The rink hosts matches and training sessions for both male and female ice hockey players. Access to the Oxford Stars and Junior Figure Skating club websites are available from the right hand menu.

Skate Shop

The Ice Rink sells hockey and figure skates, and a selection of skating accessories. Items may be purchased through reception every day between 07.00-21.00.
