New Wrist Band System IntroducedHow do you manage admissions on really busy days? How will it work? When the pool reaches its maximum lifeguard to bather ratio the banding sytem will be used. This means that an announcement will be made saying that only red wristband holders can remain in the pool. After 20 minutes the red's must get out of the pool and the blue's can enter. After another 20 minutes the blues must get out and the greens may enter. This cycle will be repeated. As customers leave the facility they must hand back their wrist bands. Once 20 of a colour of wrist band have been collected, then 20 new customers may enter the facility. Security staff will be employed to help run this system. They will hand out and collect wrist bands. They will also assist Duty Managers and lifeguards with individuals who will not cooperate with the band system. Page last reviewed 14 Nov 2008
