The park is in Headington, next to the A420 London Road. The postcode is OX3 9HX (directions).

What can I do there?

The park was developed in 1930 after the Council purchased Bury Knowle House and its grounds from Henry Beaufoy. It offers a wide range of activities including:

A kiosk is situated in the park and provides:

  • refreshments and ice creams
  • tennis court bookings (fees and charges)
  • mini golf equipment hire

Conservation work

Conservation work has been undertaken in the park as part of the Forest of Oxford project. Trees were planted by local school children following donations from:

  • Comtel
  • Boots
  • The Oxford Preservation Trust
  • and other local businesses

When is it open?

Bury Knowle Park is open 24 hours a day.
