Visit the Oxford Odeon Cinema and Oxford Vue Cinema websites for all the latest show times for your favourite movie block busters. There are two Odeon Cinema sites in Oxford city centre. The first is on George Street and the second on Magdalen Street. The Vue Cinema can be found in the Ozone Leisure Complex in Blackbird Leys.

Visit the Oxford Phoenix Picturehouse website for the best in art house cinema and all those lesser known foreign movies. This cinema is located on Walton Street in Jericho.

Visit the Ultimate Picture Palace website for screenings of a variety of international, classic and cult cinema. This cinema can be found on Jeune Street, just off Cowley Road.

Theatres

The Oxford Castle Complex is home to numerous up-market restaurants and bars, the old prison which is now a stylish hotel, the Oxford Castle Unlocked museum and even an art gallery. It also hosts outdoor theatre from the Creation Theatre Company in the summer. Live Music

Busking and Street Entertainers

We welcome most street entertainers and feel they add a lot to the street scene in Oxford. To help buskers and entertainers and to avoid complaints we have introduced a permit scheme and produced a code of practice for busking. We have also designated street entertainment areas. Following the code of practice below will help you stay on the right side of the law:

Sport

Visit the Oxford United Football Club website to find out how the U's are doing and to buy tickets for upcoming fixtures. Oxford United play at the Kassam stadium, located in Blackbird Leys in the south of the city.
