Welcome to Oxford

Harassment and illegal eviction

If you are being bullied, threatened, harassed or illegally forced to leave your home you can take action.

There are laws to protect you against these criminal offences. We have the power to prosecute landlords or agents who unlawfully evict or harass tenants.

If you feel you are being threatened with eviction or if you require any information or advice on your rights as a tenant, please contact our Tenancy Relations Team.

For further information on Housing rights see Shelter's Housing Act website.
