Tenancy and Estate Management

What does the Tenancy Services Team do ?

The Tenancy Services Team looks after the tenants of Oxford City Homes. We are here to help with tenancy concerns such as changing personal or family situations, neighbour disputes, moving and anti-social behaviour.

We:

  • regularly inspect the communal areas of our buildings and the land around them
  • hold 'walkabouts' around the estates - call us if you would like to be involved
  • work closely with other departments, such as Parks, on improving the estates
  • visit everyone in their homes on a regular basis, as part of our Tenancy Update Visit Programme
  • enforce the Tenancy Agreement conditions that you have all signed up to
  • deal with breaches of the Tenancy Agreement conditions, such as subletting, not looking after your home, not keeping the garden in a reasonable condition and not behaving in a reasonable manner
  • can put you in touch with the right people/services with Oxford City Council and other agencies to help answer your queries
  • manage 2500 + council owned garages throughout the city
  • encourage our tenants and leaseholders to get involved in shaping/improving our service through the Tenant Participation Team

For further details see our Estate Manager and Housing Surgeries pages.

We also provide landlord services for Council leaseholders and have published a Leaseholders' Handbook.

What has happened to the Local Offices?

Estate Managers hold housing surgeries at Barton, Rose Hill and St Aldates' to advise and help people who drop in.

We hold 8 surgeries a week around the city.

Some specific areas, like tower blocks, have their own surgeries run by their Estate Manager.

We make appointments to visit you at home or at a mutually convenient location

How do I see my Estate Manager ?

In the local surgeries, or by appointment. Please contact your Estate Manager to make an appointment.

If you do not have your Estate Manager's phone number and contact details, please call the Housing Contact Centre or use the search facility below. To use the search facility, just type in your address and your Estate Manager's details will appear.
