Council homes are owned by Oxford City Council and are managed by Oxford City Homes. Oxford City Homes is a Business Unit of the Council. There are nearly 8,000 homes, over 650 leasehold homes and nearly 2,500 garages. Oxford City Homes is responsible for:

• the collection of rent and service charges
• tenancy and estate management
• repair and improvement services
• tenant participation

for all Council homes.
