Business Waste and Recycling

Oxford City Council can offer collections of glass, paper, tins and cardboard from local businesses and traders.

Prices for collecting glass, tins/cans and paper

Based on one collection per week from a 240L wheelie bin. The bin is provided and there is no hire charge. VAT will be added to the charges.

£3.60 for glass, £3.60 for tins/cans, £3.60 for paper.

Prices for collecting cardboard

£5.50 for one collection per week from a 1100L four-wheeled bin, or £4.95 from a 770L bin. The bin is provided and there is no hire charge. VAT will be added to the charges.

Cardboard labels are available for those with no room for a bin, at £1.30 per label (sold in books of 50) plus VAT.

City Centre evening recycling collection service

Monday-Saturday after 5.30pm. Clear sacks for quality paper on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The same sacks can be used for commingled recycling: paper, tins, plastic bottles and small bits of card on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Cardboard labels at £1.30 per label (sold in books of 50) plus VAT.

Refuse collections

We also offer a general waste collection service for commercial premises. The costs for our wheelie bin service can be found in the table below:

An alternative to a wheelie bin is Trade Sacks and/or labels which cost £70.00 + VAT for 50. These can be paid for by Cash On Delivery or monthly invoice. If you opt for delivery then there is a charge of £7.65 + VAT.
