We offer collections of general refuse and recycling (glass, paper, tins, plastic bottles and cardboard) to local businesses and traders.

New Mixed (Commingled) Recycling Service

We have replaced our City Centre evening recycling collection service with a new commingled recycling service for the whole of the City.

Collections will now take place in the daytime.

You can sign up for bins or clear sacks to recycle a mix of paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, tins, and cans.

The bin is provided and there is no hire charge. VAT will be added to the charges.:

We also offer options for recycling fewer mixed materials (for instance, just tins/cans and plastic bottles). You can contact us using the details on the right for details.

Prices for collecting individual bins of glass, tins/cans or paper

Prices are based on one collection from a 240L wheelie bin. The bin is provided and there is no hire charge. VAT will be added to the charges.

Cardboard labels are available for those with no room for a bin, at £1.30 per label (sold in books of 50) plus VAT.

Refuse collections

We also offer a general waste collection service for commercial premises. The costs for our wheelie bin service can be found in the table below:

An alternative to a wheelie bin is trade sacks and/or labels which cost £70.00 + VAT for 50. These are paid for by monthly invoice following delivery. If you opt for delivery then there is a charge of £6.99 + VAT.
