Graffiti RemovalWe are responsible for the removal of graffiti from public areas and public buildings. We are unable to remove graffiti from private property without the consent of the owner. How do I report an incident of graffiti on public property?If you wish to report an incident, please contact us using the details on the right of this page. Alternatively, you can report graffiti by sending us a picture using our Photo Reporting scheme. Please see our Environmental Photo Reporting pages for further details. How quickly will the graffiti be removed?Our target is to remove any racist, sexist or offensive graffiti within 24 hours of notification. Other graffiti is removed within 5 days of a report if it is in the city centre, or within 14 working days outside of the city centre. How do I get graffiti removed from private property?We provide advice about graffiti removal for private buildings and businesses. Quotations for private work are available on request. We also undertake special area projects in conjunction with community groups. What chemicals are used to remove graffiti?Our graffiti removal equipment uses no harmful chemicals and is environmentally friendly in its operation. The process uses a range of techniques from soap and water to a fine water jet spray combined with bicarbonate of soda.
