Free and impartial energy advice for homeowners, private tenants, community groups, and schools is available from the following organisations: The Energy Saving Trust provide general advice on domestic energy use. On their website you can complete a Home Energy Check, which you could save £250 per year, calculate your carbon footprint, download energy efficiency Best Practice Guides or view energy saving products. Oxford City Council - Grants and Offers You can get advice on the grants and discounts available in the City of Oxford from Oxford City Council's Energy Team. Oxford is My World: Your Guide to Saving the Planet Oxford is My World is free local guide to sustainable living that covers energy, food, water, lifestyle, recycling and travel. You can also register for your free copy of the guide. The website includes sections for community groups and businesses. Thames Valley Energy Centre to give free and impartial energy advice in the local area. Community Action for Energy (CAfE) Community groups can get advice on saving energy, community energy projects and grants from Community Action for Energy.
