We maintain a publication library as part of our publication scheme. This publication scheme sets out:

• the classes of information we hold
• how we publish this information
• whether a charge will be made for accessing this information

Below is a list of publication classes. You can also perform a publication search, which matches against publication description:

Publication search

A - Council organisation and decision making
This class contains details of information on the Council's core organisational, and decision making structure and democratic make-up.

B - Policy development and strategy documents
This class sets out major policy documents produced by the Council.

C - Council performance, quality in service delivery and complaint systems
This class sets out information on Council performance and how to complain.

D - Publicity and public relations
This class contains material which is of general interest, in presenting information on the Council's work.

E - The democratic process
This class is about voting. Some of the information affects voting in other than Council elections.

F - Financial and audit information
This class contains information which relates to the Council's financial planning and audit regime as well as information relating to the direct services of Council Tax Collection, Housing/Council Tax Benefits.

G - General financial information


H - Voluntary organisations and other bodies


I - Human resources
This class contains details of general Council employment policies.

J - Bye Laws


K - Leisure services
This class contains details of information available arising from the Council's Leisure Service programme which includes sports facilities, arts and tourism.

L - Environmental services
This class contains details of information available arising from the Council's Environmental Services activities which include waste collection, street cleaning, recycling, pollution control, and food hygiene.

M - Housing services
This class contains details of information arising from the Council's provision and management of social rented housing and functions it exercises in relation to private housing.

N - Land and property
This class contains some information about various land and property issues.

O - Transport and parking
This class contains information about transport schemes which the Council supports and about car parks it manages.

P - Licensing
This class of information contains details/guidance applicable to various licenses.

Q - Planning and development
This class contains details on the Council’s Planning and Development functions, including Planning Control, Building Control, Planning Policy and Economic Development.
