The Oxford Strategic Partnership (OSP) is Oxford City's Local Strategic Partnership. This Partnership, co-ordinated by the City Council, brings together key individuals from the public, business, community and voluntary sectors in our local community to shape a vision for the City.
The OSP is chaired by Jackie Wilderspin, Partnerships Manager of The Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust. Other members of the Partnership include the Leaders of both Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council, as well as leading officers from:As regional bodies, both the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and the Government Office for the South East (GOSE) are represented.
The partnership is responsible for developing and implementing the Sustainable Community Strategy for the city.
The Partnership has developed a Sustainable Community Strategy for Oxford for 2008 - 2012. The strategy can be downloaded below:

The Strategy sets the vision for Oxford City and states the key issues for the city where the Oxford Strategic Partnership feels it can add value in the coming years. This can be summarised as follows:
The OSP's over-riding vision is that Oxford will be a world class city for everyone.
The OSP has adopted a cross cutting theme of the economy in the city and five flagship issues where the OSP feels it can add value:

Oxford City Council is also a member of the Oxfordshire Partnership. This Partnership acts as a forum for organisations with an interest in the economic, social and environmental well-being of the whole of Oxfordshire to come together to discuss key issues and agree priorities.
