Oxford Strategic PartnershipWhat is the Oxford Strategic Partnership?The Oxford Strategic Partnership (OSP) is Oxford City's Local Strategic Partnership. This Partnership, co-ordinated by the City Council, brings together key individuals from the public, business, community and voluntary sectors in our local community to shape a vision for the City. The OSP is chaired by Jackie Wilderspin, Partnerships Manager of The Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust. As regional bodies, both the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and the Government Office for the South East (GOSE) are represented. The partnership is responsible for developing and implementing the Sustainable Community Strategy for the city. What are the Oxford Strategic Partnership's priorities?The Partnership has developed a Sustainable Community Strategy for Oxford for 2008 - 2012. The strategy can be downloaded below:
The Strategy sets the vision for Oxford City and states the key issues for the city where the Oxford Strategic Partnership feels it can add value in the coming years. This can be summarised as follows: The OSP's over-riding vision is that Oxford will be a world class city for everyone.
