Oxford City Council Elections 2008Elections were held for Oxford City Council across the city on Thursday 1 May 2008. In Oxford we now have 24 wards, each having two councillors. This year each ward elected one of those councillors.

This means that two of the four parishes in Oxford had to hold elections on new boundaries. These fresh elections took place this year. As the number of candidates put forward in each parish ward did not exceed the total number of vacancies, all the candidates were elected unopposed. The affected parishes, and the results, are available to download in the table below:
