The City Council, as a member of the Oxfordshire Children & Young People's Partnership, has been involved in the development of their plan. The Oxfordshire Children and Young People's Plan 2006-09 can from Oxfordshire County Council's website.
We also have our own Plan which outlines what we are doing to promote better outcomes for children and young people.

We follow a code of good practice on safeguarding children from harm.

The body with lead responsibility for safeguarding children from harm is Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board.

The Oxfordshire Play Strategy has been adopted by the Oxfordshire Children and Young People's Board. The Strategy provides a framework and a set of principles and good practice in relation to play.
The Strategy has been produced in consultation with children, District Councils and other agencies in the statutory and voluntary sector.
