Social Inclusion in West Oxford

The Social Inclusion working group has identified two specific issues to work on at the moment:

  • Strengthen links between, and promote participation in community by all people in the area.

Many people living in West Oxford are not making use of local community facilities and services. As a first step, the group has compiled information of all regular activities offered in the area by a range of different organisations. Please use the link below to find out what is going on in West Oxford:

  • Work towards establishing more activities and support for young people.

The group funded the start up of a Community Internet Café at the Elim Church, 84 Botley Road, Oxford. The Internet Café will be launched for children and their families initially on Thursday afternoons 3.45pm - 4.45pm starting 24th April. This resource is FREE OF CHARGE. Support will be available for those who need help with using computers and the internet. Contact Simon for more information about the Internet Cafe on 01865 247746 or simon@oxfordelim.com.
