Street WardensWhat is the aim of Street Wardens?The Street Wardens aim to help bring the community together and to achieve one common goal of a safer and healthier environment. Street Warden teams show respect, responsibility and professionalism to each other and the community in order to achieve this. Where do Street Wardens operate?
Street Warden teams operate in Rose Hill, Littlemore, Northfield Brook, Blackbird Leys, Greater Leys, Lye Valley, Wood Farm, Marston, Barton, Sandhills and surrounding areas. What do the Street Wardens do?The Street Wardens work within their local communities and attend various meetings and events and help to tackle anti social behaviour. When on patrol, Street Wardens report cleaning issues such as fly tipping, graffiti and litter, abandoned and untaxed vehicles, and the safe collection and disposal of sharps and other drugs paraphernalia. The Street Wardens act as a visible presence on the streets and interact with the community. Street Wardens work closely with local schools and help with the following:
