If you are unable to leave your car, please let staff know when you book, and they will bring a scooter out to you. Ring-a-ride service (Octabus Service)If you are a local resident and cannot drive to Shopmobility, you could use a taxi or book a place on the Ring-a-ride service. This is a local minibus service for people who are unable to use ordinary buses. It operates in Blackbird Leys, the City Centre, Cowley, Iffley, Jordan Hill, Marston, Sandhills and Wolvercote. Ring-a-ride can take you to work, further education, shopping or visiting friends. You may also take a friend. However, this service is not available for hospital appointments or day care, as transport for these is carried out by the Ambulance Service and Social Services. There is a nominal charge for this service unless you have a concessionary bus pass, and places need to be booked in advance. For more information please contact us.
