What is the Council doing to promote play in Oxfordshire?We do not run any play schemes or after school clubs directly, but we work closely with the Oxfordshire Children's Information Service (OCIS), Oxfordshire Play Association, Oxfordshire County Council and other play related services to help improve play services in Oxfordshire. Where can I find more information about children's services in Oxfordshire?The Oxfordshire Children's Information Service website will give you information on registered childminders, nurseries, pre-school groups, toddler groups, holiday play schemes and interest groups. The Oxfordshire Playbus runs sessions on converted buses to help children and families to play together, participate in arts and crafts, make friends and have fun. The buses also have computers which can be used to teach computing skills to adults and the sensory bus brings a multi-sensory environment to disabled children.
