Community grants for voluntary and community groups

What grants does the council offer?

One of the ways we support voluntary and community organisations (CVO's) is through grant aid.

We have a limited amount of funds avaliable to help community and voluntary groups, which provide a project or service that benefit residents and communities in the city.

  • Promotes community activities
  • Encourages healthy lifestyles
  • Gets more people involved in the arts
  • Tackles antisocial behaviour and improves community safety
  • Promotes and protests the natural environment/biodiversity
  • Tackles social inequality
