Community grants for voluntary and community groupsWhat grants does the council offer?One of the ways we support voluntary and community organisations (CVO's) is through grant aid. We have a limited amount of funds available to help community and voluntary groups, which provide a project or service that benefit residents and communities in the city.
You can apply for a grant if your project does one or more of the following:
Annual Round of Community Grants for 2009-2010The closing date for the 2009-2010 annual open bidding round was on the 21st November 2008. A list of all organisations and groups awarded a grant for 2009-10 through the open bidding process and commissioning can be found below.
Small Community Grants available for 2008/09During the financial year, commencing 1st April 2009, there are further opportunities for Community and Voluntary Organisations to apply for a small grant or an area committee grant. Emergency GrantsThere may be times when something serious happens unexpectly that results in serious consequences for the beneficiaries of your group or organisation. If this happens you could apply for an emergency grant, the application form and the criteria can be downloaded below:

Where can I find more information?To help you look for funding for your group please view the Grantnet website. It is a free online service. We produce a guide to funding opportunities in conjunction with the other Districts, the County Council and Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action (OCVA). The guide is available to download below:

Arts grants
