Disability Grants
How do I apply for a Disabled Facilities Grant?
First you should contact your GP to arrange an appointment with the Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will then assess your needs. Your Occupational Therapist will send us the referral of work to be carried out. You may be eligible for grant assistance however this grant is subject to a means test. - To ensure the safety of the disabled person and other occupants. For example, by providing a specially adapted room in which it would be safe to leave a disabled person unattended or improved lighting to ensure better visibility; or to make access easier to the living room.
