Welcome to Oxford

Oxford City Access Forum

What is the Access Forum?

It is a group of disability related organisations and individuals that meet to discuss access for people with disabilities within the City of Oxford.

What is the remit of the Forum?

  • be a non-bureaucratic mechanism for the local community to raise issues related to disability access;
  • provide a two-way dialogue between Oxford City Council and the local community;
  • To channel issues through the appropriate officer/committee that are related to council services.

How often does the Forum meet?

It meets quarterly at the Town Hall and is a useful mechanism to highlight problems and successes in the field of disability access.

Can I join the Forum?

New members are always welcome.  If you have a disability, represent a disability organisation or are a carer for instance, contact the Access Officer to find out when the next meeting is.
